What Leaders Can Learn From Baba Stiltz

Leadership lessons can come from the most unexpected places.

My brother sent me the link to this clip a few days ago. It's about a young, highly talented electronic music producer from Stockholm with a classical ballet background.

This dude’s glasses are enough of a reason to listen to what he has to say. Anyone with that much style deserves our attention. AND, he shares my OCD tendencies when it comes to crushing on a song or an artist.

Here’s his badass ideas on creativity...

“I try not to analyse what I do….usually when I think too much, everything goes to shit. It’s like love as well. If we think too much, we get stuck in the situation.” - Yep.

“I want to be scared….I don’t want to know what I’m doing.” - Yep, again.

On hard work (there’s no getting around it) - “The most important thing is work ethic. Every day, sitting down and forcing yourself to do it.”

Lorde’s hit single “Royals” started off as a free internet download and transformed into a U.S Billboard number one hit.

And Baba's ‘wall of flies' analogy? Ten points for anyone who can use this metaphor in a meeting at work next week. Seriously though, Tweet if you do and I'll send you a prize.
